Check back often to see what all has been added. I will be adding birthday, retirement, etc as I go.

Since you’re not around

I have nothing to do

But take a deep breath and

Think about you

Then I repeat it

Again and again

And wonder why our relationship

Came to an end

Now that you’re gone

I have nothing left

And I cry like a child

In spite of myself

I want you back in my life

To have and to hold

You’re more precious to me

Than all the worlds’ gold

What do you say about one

More try

I’ll make sure you’re not sorry

Until the day that I die

If tomorrow never comes

You still need to know

That I will love you my forever

And I want it to always show.

You are the one whose love

So wonderfully shines

The one whose love I want

Always to be mine.

You are my dearest lady

The love of my life.

I know I am a lucky man

To have you for a wife.

I Love You

I love you more than words can say

Is a song that says it all

It should be plain to you

Like handwriting on the wall

I may not always take the time

I should to let you know

But there are other ways to show it

Instead of a present with a bow

Each night I go to bed beside you

And that is all it takes

For me to rest my weary head

And sleep until time to wake

I never intend to hurt you

When I am ill or tired or pout

I will love you to eternity.

And after too no doubt!

I always have considered you an angel and friend.
You influenced my life so much I don't know where to begin.
A couple of times you got exsaperated with me
Because you were telling me things I couldn't understand or see.
You tried to explain to me about my self worth
Things we're entitled to just by our birth.
It took several years of growing for it to become crystal clear
But each step of the way I kept your encouragement near.
And I always like to give credit where credit is due
I am who I am partly because of my friendship with you.
I am prosperous, successful, loving and kind
And one the richest people you'll ever find.
I'm rich in life's lessons and friends from the past
I've found peace on earth and contentment at last.

Thank you for being my friend

Let's take a moment now and reflect

On your retirement and what to expect.

First, this doesn't mean you get control of the remote

If you even try I'll shake you by your throat.

Next you need to remember that I'm retired too

And I already have far too much to do

So it will not matter what you say

Don't expect me to prepare three meals a day.

Perhaps you could stay in bed until lunch

Then we could consider your first meal brunch.

Plus you wouldn't be underfoot and in my way

I could still salvage half of my day.

The afternoons we can always spend together

But it will be doing some chores and whatever.

The last thing on my agenda will be the nights

When we'll hug, smooch and snuggle and turn off the lights
